MCDA TRAINING CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations with less than 14 days’ notice will not be refunded. Cancellations with less than 14 days’ notice will not receive a training credit unless due to a formally declared state of emergency or formal travel ban by the State of Michigan, the County, or the local municipality. In such circumstances, a copy of the signed declaration or formal travel ban must be provided to the MCDA and the credited amount for a future training shall not exceed 75% of the cost of registration. The MCDA Executive Board will determine the final amount of credit. An agency may substitute another person from the agency for a registered spot at any time.
MCDA reserves the right to reschedule or cancel training programs. In the event of a cancellation, every attempt will be made to reschedule, and registration fees will be applied to the rescheduled event. Any travel, lodging, or incidental expenses incurred related to a cancelled event cannot be refunded under any circumstances. If a cancelled event cannot be rescheduled, MCDA will issue a credit or an equitable refund of a portion or all of the registration fees after due consideration of circumstances and expenditures.
